Come and experience firsthand how we uphold the highest standards of small-scale farming\, using organic and biodynamic principles to produce truly nutrient-dense food. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe’ll walk you through our daily ‘behind the scene’ activities\, sharing our methods of production\, from Meat\, Eggs\, Apple Cider Vinegar to Veg and Wild venison. It will be a weekly meeting of like-minded people who love to garden\, grow\, muck out (so as to make compost)\, learn and share (while working) about holistic regenerative and Biodynamic growing/farming as well as join and enjoy a community of friendly chat…  \n\n\n\nWe are restricted to 10 people per week\, this is a working event so older children may enjoy it but younger ones may not. Please use your common sense when bringing a little one.  \n\n\n\nIf you wish to come and learn more about what we are doing\, but are a little light fingered\, please book a spot on a farm tour instead\, children of any age are more than welcome on Farm Tours. The Biodynamic Land Army is a volunteer working day for helping us grow… \n\n\n\nWe offer a cuppa and a hearty home made soup for lunch to anyone who wants to volunteer their time. SUMMARY:A Pilgrimage to the Herbs - Mugwort Dieta - x 6 weeks  April New Moon to May New Moon
DESCRIPTION:(2 Hours per week) 6.30pm – 8.30pm \n\n\n\n27th April ( evening between the New Moon of April to the New Moon of May. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA ‘Dieta’ is a pilgrimage to a plant\, a contract between a student and a plant\, an agreement to learn about each other\, to meet in spirit\, in the world of non-ordinary reality\, between\, beyond and betwixt the mist of the veil. Although we ingest the plant to commune with her\, the communication is beyond the physical\, it is an emotional\, an intellectual\, a sentient\, an etheric telepathic all encompassing meeting. A dieta is a sacred personal appointment between the two of you and as such must be treated with love\, compassion\, honesty and authenticity. Plant spirits are not transcended compassionate beings and so need to be treated with reverence and respect. Mugwort is the first plant we will meet\, she will help us access all the others we will meet throughout the years. The more we put into this relationship\, the stronger it will be\, the more profound experience we will have\, the more satisfaction we will gain\, the more love and longevity we will enjoy. \n\n\n\nThroughout European history\, Mugwort (Artemesia vulgararis) ruled by Venus and strongly associated with the moon\, was known as a witch’s herb\, a stirrer of visions and an opener of portals\, she would be laid at the door of witches\, healers and midwives to heighten power and ward of the negative energies of ‘evil’ spirits. When ingested she heightens our extrasensory perception and opens the gateway for visionary dreaming\, she is believed to have a strong connection to the spirit world and can help strengthen shamanic journeying\, advance our seer-ship and divinatory skills. She is an ancient magical herb used by all of our ancestors\, she is a part of our history\, she is in our blood\, she is one of us. \n\n\n\nWorking with plant spirits as allies or as medicines is not for the faint hearted\, it is for the brave seekers who wish to move beyond the realms of ordinary physical life and into the unfamiliar and the unknowns. SUMMARY:Creating and Birthing your Own Shamanic Drum - March 22nd 9am-6pm
DESCRIPTION:In this day long process\, you will create your own sacred shamanic drum\, in ceremony and while honouring the trees and animals from where the materials came. It will be carefully crafted from wood and deer skin. We will be taking a ceremonial tea to help us connect\, calling in the spirit of deer\, the spirit of the trees and the spirit of the land around us to ask for their help in bringing the power of dream and journeying into our drums. We will be birthing our drum in ceremony to the spring equinox as the light begins to return and the fire burns in readiness\, the deer emerge from the forests and trees waken for what is to come. \n\n\n\nThe full price of this workshop is £350\, this is for a 16″ or smaller drum\, if you would like a smaller or larger drum you can decide at a later point (I will contact you) there may be an additional charge for a larger drum. Drum sizes are 14″\, 16″ and 18″.
