SUMMARY:Sitting in Circle with the Spirit of Herbs
DESCRIPTION:In this first series of workshops we will sit with the six herbs used for healing the land: Yarrow\, Dandelion\, Nettle\, Chamomile\, Valerian\, Horsetail. We will use our differing senses to deeply connect: smelling\, touching\, seeing\, feeling\, listening\, ingesting and intuitive sensing. We will consider the astrological influences\, the elemental influences and undertake a shamanic journey to the spirit of the herb and ask for information and guidance. DESCRIPTION:Biodynamic is a holistic\, ecological\, and ethical approach to farming\, gardening\, food\, and nutrition. A Biodynamic farm or garden is an integrated\, whole living organism made up of many elements. Fields\, forests\, plants\, animals\, soils\, people and the spirit of the place. Biodynamic practitioners work alongside nature to nurture and harmonize these elements to support the vitality of the whole. The biodynamic approach is always organic\, but it also goes beyond organic in that a set of carefully prepared plant and animal based preparations are also applied to the land. \n\n\n\n Biodynamics is both a science and a ‘spiritual’ approach to farming.
