SUMMARY:Healing the Land with Biodynamic Magic!
DESCRIPTION:Biodynamics is both a science and a ‘spiritual’ approach to farming. Joanna is a shamanic practitioner as well as a small farmer and so her farming practice integrates the two. These are often applied in ceremony and with mindful intention. Biodynamic farming is a holistic\, ecological\, and ethical approach to farming\, gardening\, food\, and nutrition. A Biodynamic farm or garden is an integrated\, whole living organism made up of many elements. Fields\, forests\, plants\, animals\, soils\, people and the spirit of the place. Biodynamic practitioners work alongside nature to nurture and harmonize these elements to support the vitality of the whole. The biodynamic approach is always organic\, but it also goes beyond organic in that a set of carefully prepared plant and animal based preparations are also applied to the land.  \n\n\n\nThis workshop will introduce the making of one biodynamic preparation\, Horn Manure 500 and then the practical application of it including the ceremonial dynamizing/stiring and intentional application to the land. \n\n\n\nYou will be asked to bring an edible herb with you that you have mindfully picked yourself for a community tea\, this will connect you energetically with the land before the application. \n\n\n\nPlease wear wellies and warm clothing\, bring drums or rattles and a yoga mat if you have them.

DESCRIPTION:Come and sit in circle with us\, we will connect with the spirit of the land and herbs around us\, we will connect with our true selves\, each other and extend our love and intention out to our families and communities. \n\n\n\nWe will drum our drums and rattle our rattles\, use our voices to encourage and call spirit and ancestors to come and work with us\, be with us\, bless us. \n\n\n\nWe will undertake a shamanic journey asking for healing and guidance and we will ask the spirit of fire to help us bring our wishes into fruition. \n\n\n\nWe will sit by the fire and share our thoughts\, poems\, songs or just listen to those that offer. We will be ourselves and loved for our authenticity and truth. \n\n\n\nAnd then we will go home\, filled with peace and know we are held in the love of our ancestors.
