DESCRIPTION:We would love you to come and join our community garden group\, it will be available most Saturdays and Mondays of the season between 10-4pm. BOOKING ALWAYS ON LINE to let us know you are coming. \n\n\n\nBring a packed lunch\, weather dependent clothes\, a water bottle etc. There are a few days we aren’t open so please always check and book online to avoid disappointment. If you arrive and it is your first time\, please ask Joanna or Victoria for an induction on the Do’s and Don’ts\, hand washing and toilet facilities etc. You will get to take some of you own picked veg home with you… \n\n\n\n\nSome members will also be baking cake! so you don’t want to miss that either! \n\n\n\nPlease note\, we are not paid a lot for our time and many days are unpaid for us\, we don’t have funding for any core costs such as management\, admin\, consumables\, composts\, woodchip\, land\, infrastructure\, refreshments\, utilities etc\, so please bear this in mind. You are asked to bring a small cash contribution towards coffee/teas/biscuits.  \n\n\n\nThis is a pilot project to see how it goes and what is possible for the future\, this is also our home and a working farm\, so please do not bring dogs with you as we have two of our own and also have livestock

SUMMARY:Connect with the Spirits of Nature - A One Day Ancestral Plant & Elemental Retreat
DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to welcome Niamh Murray in the collaborative creation of a very special day retreat with Joanna at Roots to the Moon. This unique day will welcome the elemental beings of Earth\, Fire\, Air and Water to come and help us work closely with the spirits of plants and share their ancient wisdom. \n\n\n\nNiamh is a multi- disciplinary artist\, educator and Irish spiritual practitioner based in London. She works within nature\, the elements and alongside the ancestors as ‘seer-er’ of ‘other-worlds’\, whilst teaching workshops in the ‘Art of Ogham’ – an ancient Irish divination practice.  \n\n\n\nOur planet Earth is made up of the four elements – Earth\, Air\, Water\, Fire we too are made up of these elements\, as are all other ethereal beings. It is through remembering the ‘elemental body’ of ourselves that we remember our relationship with our elemental kin and deepen our relationship with the mother ‘Earth’. \n\n\n\nIn this special ceremony we lead you on a journey dedicated to the elemental kingdom to help you see\, hear\, sing\, listen\, taste or feel your way through and into the supersensible world. The techniques we use will help you in perceiving and communicating with the elemental self (inner world) and the greater vessel (outer world) empowering you to heal and grow.  \n\n\n\nWe will work closely with the plants and share their ancient wisdom\, focusing in on the spirit of Mugwort (woman of the woods) we hope she will provide a bridge for us to delve deeply and authentically into the other worlds. \n\n\n\nWe will create a bio- dynamic (tonic) which will hold our prayer for the earth and act as a messenger to the elementals speaking our intentions. We will prepare the tonic together and make petitions to the elemental kingdoms\, to the air\, the fire\, the water and the earth. \n\n\n\nBy creating ceremony on the land\, we will raise our earth consciousness enabling our communication with these beings and creating the perfect intention for healing\, nourishment and restoring the balance we so desperately seek.     \n\n\n\nOn the September Equinox\, we often experience a perfect equilibrium between our external experiences and our inner spiritual journey. This is an ideal moment in the astrological map to spend time learning how to communicate with the elementals. \n\n\n\nCommunication with them allows us to see ourselves more clearly\, enabling us to make the necessary adjustments for personal growth as well as truly experiencing ourselves at one and a part of the greater design.
